Team Training camp

Finally the FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC Worldcup Team has been revealed. We had the official team presentation here in the Aqua Dome in Ötztal (a tourist region in the Austrian alps and one of the team title sponsors). It was a very successful night and exceeded all expectations. All athletes were presented on the stage along with the team staff (mechanic, masseur and team coach). The concept of the team (both leisure and worldcup team) was explained in detail. The focus is not exclusively set on the Worldcup Team but also on the formation of the world`s biggest leisure team. The so called FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC Team welcomes everybody.

We are now into our 4th day of the official team training camp here in the Aqua Dome. We are all very spoilt in this luxury wellness hotel. On the first day we all went cross country skiing which was a bit of a laugh. I tried skating for the first time, I have always done classic cross country skiing. I fell twice, I guess that´s just part of the learning process. Adel helped out in teaching me the right technique. Otherwise we have been enjoying the 5 star breakfast and dinner buffet along with the thermal spas and pools. 

 

Our Sportskanonen (Sports Aces) are also here training and learning from the pros. They have quite a training schedule, I´m sure they will all reach their goals.

 

We have now adjusted to European time and the cold weather here, looking forward to Ironman China in 6 weeks time.
