Seven Cameras and a Big Screen at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Offenburg/Rammersweier

The best cross country event in 2008 is to continue it´s high level with a huge big screen where the race will be shown live. Seven cameras will be positioned on the course in order to capture the best action. German and english commentry will offer the spectators information about the position of the riders. 

 

A huge logistical complexity awaits the organisers. For example the cable for the northshore camera is 1,5 km long in order to transfer the live footage. Platforms will be installed in the forest for the cameras to capture a wider shot above the spectators. 

 

The Press and VIP guests will be able to follow the race on large TVs.

 

Offenburg will again set the standards expected from World Cup level racing.
