ÖTZTAL is the new premium partner of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Offenburg Germany

Scheiderbauer Sports GmbH extends its cooperation with ÖTZTAL. After the engagement in the FELT ÖTZTAL X-BIONIC World Cup and World Leisure Team the holiday region ÖTZTAL now joins the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Offenburg as premium partner for three years.
Till 2012 the ÖTZTAL belongs with immediate effect to the biggest sponsors of the best UCI mountain bike World Cup in 2008 and will not only be present at the exhibition area but also on numerous advertising boards, video screens and posters.
Oliver Schwarz, CEO of ÖTZTAL Tourism, regards the UCI World Cup in Offenburg as huge media stage helping to increase the ÖTZTAL´s international degree of awareness.
The region, situated 85 km in the southwest of Innsbruck, belongs to the most popular skiing and biking regions worldwide. Sports play an outstanding role in the concept of the Austrians. The spectrum ranges from winter sports to water sports and cycling to fun and extreme sports. Sölden is ÖTZTALs best-known location. There the alpine skiing world cup season will be opened from 23rd to 25th of October 2009. The Rettenbach glacier reaches to over 3.000 meter above sea level and offers ideal conditions for skiing. Hochgurgl and Obergurgl might also be well-known among winter sports fans. Haiming, Sautens and Oetz are situated at the entrance of the ÖTZTAL and offer several possibilities especially for water sports. Oetz hosts the extreme kayak world championships which are currently taking place.
In between Haiming, Sautens and Roppen Europe’s largest adventure park, the Area 47, will be constructed till 2010. With its 6,5 hectares the area offers enough space for events, sports, fun, congresses and culinary highlights. Bikers will primarily find ideal locations in Längenfeld where they have the possibility to relax from strenuous tours in Tirols Therme Aqua Dome. Umhausen and Niederthai are located in the center of ÖTZTAL. The Ötzidorf is an experience for the whole family.
