We kick of on friday with the Eliminator! A classic “one of a kind” MTB weekend!

The UCI MTB World Cup in Offenburg is a sporting event that is best described as a classic, “one of a kind”. The Stars of Mountain Biking come together, Olympic and World champions fight for the podium and it is here, where heroes are born.

For the fifth consecutive year, Offenburg won the bid announced by the UCI to hold a World Cup Race and that was no big surprise: The Event won the Award for the best event of the year two times in its short history. Simple reason made that happen: Mountain biking in Offenburg is biking on a whole new level. The riders are stars in this area and part of a big entertainment-show.

Organiser Jörg Scheiderbauer and his Team set up new highlights in 2011: With the Eliminator Sprint race on Friday, a spectacular new race format will take place. Hard fights hand to hand in this merciless knock-out based format make the sport more spectacular and faster than ever!
