Q: Where are the best Spectator Viewing Points?
A:
Dual Speed
Here the race track splits into two, forcing the riders to choose between the left or right line. A great spectator viewing point, with great action as the riders desend beside eachother and then come together again after 150 m.
Northshore
A long downhill section with over 10 switchbacks and a vertical rooty drop to finish with, testing the riders technical skills. Again a great spectator viewing point, as the riders can be seen for a longer period. Followed by a single track climb on the way to the next drop.
Worldclass Drop
A three meter „Free Fall“, requiring extreme concentration.
„New“ Devils Wall
A new attraction in 2009, the Devils Wall will test the world´s best mountain bikers. The 30m downhill section will be constructed between the Worldclass Drop and Wolfsdrop. Riders will face a difficult downhill section, to top off the world´s most technical course.
Wolfsdrop
The most difficult decent on the World Cup course attracting thousands of spectators. The riders must guide the bike in the right direction over roots branching in many different directions.
Snake Pit
As the name suggests this section is full of roots in all shapes and sizes branching in all directions. The downhill is not very steep, therefore making it tough for the riders at low speed to encounter the roots. Another spectator attraction especially designed for the World Cup.
